Create Property Staging was founded by us — a husband and wife team based in Glenacunna, just outside Fermoy in Cork — because we saw a gap in the Irish property market that nobody else was filling.
Home staging has transformed property markets in the US, the UK and Australia for decades. In Ireland, it was virtually unheard of. We knew that was about to change — and we wanted to be the ones to change it.
So in early 2025, we launched Create Property Staging. Munster's only standalone, dedicated property staging company.
Why staging? Why us?
I've always had a passion for interiors, space and the way a room makes you feel when you walk into it. But it wasn't until I discovered home staging that I understood how powerful that feeling could be in a property transaction.
Buyers decide within seconds of walking through a door. They decide emotionally, not rationally. If a property feels cold, cluttered or hard to connect with — they move on. If it feels warm, considered and like home — they reach for their phone and call their bank.
That's what we create. And the results have been extraordinary.
In our first year and a half, the properties we've staged have achieved an average of 18% over asking price. One property on Jacob's Island sold for 45% over asking. Another in Harty's Quay outsold an apartment in the same block with better views and a better layout — purely because of how it was presented.
What makes us different
We are not an interior design company that also does staging. We are not an estate agent with a furniture hire arrangement. We are a dedicated staging company — the only one of our kind in Munster — and property staging is all we do.
That focus matters. Every decision we make — every piece of furniture, every accessory, every room layout — is made with one question in mind: will this help this property sell faster and for more?
We've been recognised for what we do. We were nominated as finalists for the Network Ireland Businesswoman of the Year Award, and our work has been featured on RTÉ Radio 1. But honestly, the results our clients achieve are the only recognition that matters to us.
